CARLOS LORIO
Founder, A Better Contractor Corp
Carlos Lorio was born and raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado. With nearly two decades of hands-on experience in construction, maintenance, and large-scale project management, he has built his reputation on reliability, adaptability, and delivering high-quality results across both residential and commercial sectors.
Carlos began his career in 2005 providing construction cleanup and residential maintenance throughout El Paso County, expanding into commercial tenant finish work by 2007. In 2010 he founded A Better Contractor, growing it into a full turnkey solution for property maintenance, unit turns, and renovations.
From 2014 to 2022 he led large-scale facility maintenance and capital improvement projects for Walmart, Sam's Club, and Lowe's across Colorado. In 2020 he expanded into military housing at Fort Carson, completing nearly 1,100 unit turns in the first year alone and over 2,000 in the years that followed.
In 2022 Carlos launched ABC Restoration, a sister company focused on water mitigation, asbestos abatement, mold remediation, and fire restoration. Today he continues to lead both companies as they expand into custom home building and development.

Ricci Epperson brings over 30 years of customer-facing experience to ABC Restoration, with a career spanning commercial remodels, project management, residential remodeling, and restoration work.
As an IICRC-certified professional and licensed Asbestos Supervisor, Ricci takes a hands-on approach to every project — ensuring that water mitigation, environmental services, and restoration work are executed to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and quality.
His belief that the most important part of any job is the experience you deliver drives the culture of ABC Restoration from the first call through project completion.
